Shepherd's Vineyard

                                                             I am Tim Westley, pastor of Shepherd's Vineyard Christian Church, which my wife Tracia and I planted

                                                             March 2006 under God's direction and grace.  I have been married for 18+ years & have 3

                                                             children (Tralunda, Timontre, & Traeven) and one grandson (Coleman) and an additional

                                                             grandchild scheduled to arrive in June 2014. 

 

                                                             I am a former soldier in the U.S. Army where I served 7 years active duty and 1 year in the

                                                             Texas National Guard.  After my stint in the U.S. Army, I spent over 3 years as a Mail Carrier  

                                                             for the U.S. Postal Service.  Afterwards I spent a brief moment in SAISD as a middle school

                                                             math & science teacher. 

 

                                                             I have authored two books:  "Elevations of Life" & "The Power of Poetic Praises".  In addition

                                                             I have written over 50 songs and published 2 full length music CD’s.  I am also an alumni of

                                                             Wayland Baptist University where I graduated with a:

                                                         

                                                                  B.S. in Religion & a

                                                                  Masters of Christian Ministry degree.

 

Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Trident University International.

 

In addition to duties as Pastor, my most recent bi-vocational assignments have had me working as a contracted Professional Speaker and currently I am an instructor with the University of Phoenix (San Antonio, TX) whereby I facilitate World Religion and Critical Thinking courses. Nevertheless, the greatest of the jobs is family man and more importantly PASTOR!

 

I simply like to have fun, as well as enjoy life with my family and church members.

 

My favorite past times:

• Learning new things from the Bible

• Grill time on the BBQ Pit

• Writing music and poetry

 

Overall, I love living a life for Christ and having a great time along the way! Additional Information:Certifications: Anger Management Specialist, Crisis Chaplain, Chemical Dependency Specialist, Marriage and Family Specialist, Board Certified Master Level Restorative Therapist. All certifications completed through The Faith Based Counselor Training Institute. Religious attainments: Ordained and Licensed.
